THE WHEELS MODIFIER
for Carrara 4 & 5
The Wheels Modifer saves effort and production time
by automatically spinning the wheels of a vehicle. Once it's
setup all you have to do is move the vehicle around the scene and the
modifier makes all the calculations needed to spin the wheels at the
correct rate and in the right direction. When steering is enabled
the modifier also turns the front wheels when the vehicle
corners. This plug-in is still under development but ready for
use and testing.

This short AVI

seconds, 4.23Mb) demonstrates what the
wheels modifier can
do when it's utilized to it's full potential. A motion path and
inverse kinematics are all that is needed to get this girl to ride her
bike - no key frames required. The motion path could easily be
changed to a different direction with no need to edit anything else -
except maybe to give Aiko a happier face. Why do all the work
when
simple smart software can do
it for you - that's what computers are supposed to be all about !
